I recently completed a MERIT postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I split my time between molecular biology research with the model organisms S. cerevisiae (budding yeast) and C. elegans (roundworm) and teaching at the chemistry department at Oakwood University in Huntsville.
